In what in retrospect seems like a moment of either brilliance or irreverence, I place a textured glass jar between the camera and the scene in my apartment late in the day when the sun is low and the shadows of the window frames are cast all over.  The edge of the vessel are evident at the left and to the right of midway in the image.
